| Rice ales are ales which use both rice and barley malts resulting in a pale colored ale. Expect a rice ale to be cloudy as most will be unfiltered and appear the same as an unfiltered wheat ale or lager. The rice will of course taste like rice, distinct but yet also light in presentation. More traditional fruity and spicy ale components are present at varying levels depending on the brewer. |
